    Services

    Rehabilitation, adaptation and social integration services are offered on an ambulatory basis to children with motor impairments causing significant and persistent disabilities impacting on lifestyle habits.  These services aim to have the child carry out functional daily activities by promoting the development of motor skills and facilitating adaptation and integration to his/her environment.

    Clients

    For children and adolescents diagnosed with a significant and persistent motor disability with the following diagnosis:

    • Cerebral Palsy, for children aged between 0-17 years;
    • Delay in motor development  with or without an association to a genetic syndrome for children aged between 0-17 years;
    • Developmental Coordination Disorder (DCD) for children aged between 5-17 years;

    Location of intervention

    The services are provided at the JRH of the CISSS of Laval. Also, consultations may take place at school, daycare or at home as required.
