Services
The program offers physical and functional rehabilitation services to reduce motor impairment related to musculoskeletal disorders.
Clients
Adults with musculoskeletal injury such as:
- Hip or pelvis fracture;
- Joint replacement of the knee or hip;
- Post orthopedic surgeries (except hand surgeries);
- Recent amputation of one or both lower limbs;
- Rheumatic condition.
The person must have the potential and desire to participate and benefit from a rehabilitation program.
Location of intervention
The person may be admitted to the hospital if their condition requires it or they may receive services on an ambulatory basis.
