    Are you a young person who has questions about your general health, sexuality, family problems or other issues? A team of professionals from the CISSS de Laval can help you at our facilities or at your school*:

    Services and advice on contraception, pregnancy, sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections (STBBIs), mental health and addiction, psychosocial services are offered.

    • Psychosocial consultation
      Dropout prevention, violence, addiction, suicide, romantic relationships, sexual orientation, family problems, behaviour problems, mental health problems
    • Parent-child relationships
      Isolation, family problems, parenting skills support and development, conflict management
    • Crisis situations

    * These services are free and confidential. The Civil Code of Québec sets out that youth aged 14 and over can get confidential health services and social services without permission from their parents or guardian.

    Get professional services and support

    • If you have questions about your general health or sexuality or if you are having family problems, contact the First-line services for family and youth at 811.
    • Community services
      In Laval, many community organizations help young people in difficulty. You can get support, guidance, education and information services, which also include prevention, theme training, employability activities and food assistance.
    • You can also access a community housing organization and nine youth housing centres.
