    The Director of Youth Protection has a team of professionals who perform several roles:

    • Deciding if a reported case must be evaluated
    • Evaluating the situation
    • Determining the measures to correct the situation
    • Reviewing the child’s situation

    In collaboration with these social stakeholders, the evaluation and referral service has an educator staff member  who has the power to intervene in family crises to provide educational support.
