    Target clients

    The adult assistance program is for adult men and women who have problems with alcohol, drugs or medication. A similar service is also available for the family members or social network of a user who may or may not be receiving services from the Centre de réadaptation en dépendance de Laval.

    General program goals

    • Provide a range of specialized addiction rehabilitation services.
    • Assess the severity of the substance abuse and its related lifestyle on the person’s physical and psychological health and personal relationships.
    • Help reduce the negative impact of the person’s substance habit in the different areas of their life.
    • Stimulate and support the person’s motivation to make changes in their problematic substance use.
    • Support users as they develop and maintain a healthy lifestyle to reduce harm and help the person and their family live a more balanced life.
