    The gambling awareness workshops last 45 to 90 minutes and are run by experienced professionals trained in the field of gambling problems.

    Why the workshops were created

    The increased availability of many forms of gambling has also increased the number of people who gamble. This has in turn raised the number of people at risk of developing a gambling problem. The workshop information is essential for both gamblers and non-gamblers alike so that you or a loved one can avoid falling into the gambling trap.

    General program goals

    Increase public awareness of the risks of gambling by providing information about:

    • Facts and fictions about various types of gambling: How do video slot machines work?)
